Quantifly
We use aerial imagery to automate the observation, measurement, and analysis of change at city scale. Our solutions provide data that is affordable, reliable, accessible, and most of all, easy to understand.
Our first product counts 100s of acres of parked cars automatically with our proprietary technology using drones/UAS or manned aircraft at the city scale. Making parking studies and gathering on- and off- street parking data easier, more consistent, and faster. The result is an incredibly accurate and detailed dataset visualizing parking demand and turnover; we’ve brought parking data into the information age.
We’re an Esri Startup program participant, are part of the NVIDIA Inception program, and are a GENIUS NY 2018 finalists. GENIUS NY is the largest drone/UAS competition and business accelerator in the world.
As a company, Quantifly LLC was legally born on January 8th, 2018 when co-founder Daniel Brooks finished setting up the internet in the company’s brand new Syracuse, NY apartment. The ideas that would eventually lead to Quantifly started at a bar trivia night in the fall of 2016 and cemented over coffee then pizza a week or so later. Over the course of the next year Daniel and co-founder Adrianna Jordan focused on helping to build Pivot Planning and Design, their urban planning firm, while co-founders Zac Halberd and Javad Roostaei focused on building their UAS image processing data firm, Autonomous Scientific. Organically, the two firms grew together and found their missions overlapping until they finally merged to form Quantifly around the time they were accepted to the Genius NY business accelerator program.
